Description

Travel RN - PACU

Location: Spruce Pine, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Overview

Unit: Pre-op/PACU
Beds: 6 pre-op/phase II, 2 PACU
Patient Ratios: 2-3 patients per nurse
Staffing: RNs only (no techs, HUCs, or PCTs)
Patient Type: Majority discharged same day
Equipment: GE monitors
Documentation System: Cerner
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM, no call
Dress Code: Green OR scrubs provided by hospital
Recognition: Unit of Distinction 2023
Staff: Tenured staff with 10+ years experience

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of recent (within the last year) experience in PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
Advanced skills related to PACU care expected.
