Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Assignment
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Job Details
- Discipline: Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Shift: Day shift only (8-hour shift)
- Call Requirements: No call
- Weekend Assignment: Assistance needed on Saturdays and Sundays
- Unit: Float position covering all units
- Patient Ratios:
- 8-10 acute care patients, or
- 4 rehab patients
- Typical Equipment Used: Hoyer lifts, EZ Stands, BITS, Xcite
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
Unit Information
- Number of OT staff scheduled daily: 11-12 on day shift
- No night shift coverage required
- The unit is part of a growing Rehab Unit focused on inpatient rehab patients
- Team culture is strong with recognition awards in 2025
- New equipment recently added: Barihab and BURT device
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Kansas
- Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Inpatient Rehab experience

- Dress code: Scrubs of any color, professional appearance expected
