Description

Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse (RN) - Days

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a 28-bed Emergency Room department including 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms.
Fast-paced environment with rapid patient turnover and a team-oriented atmosphere.
Schedule: Days, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly). No guarantee of hours.
Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.

Required Qualifications

Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license for the State of Hawaii by the start of the assignment.
Certifications required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Preferred (not required) certifications: Procedural Sedation, TMCC, EMPC.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (specialty years of experience).
Prior travel experience is not required.

Additional Information

Must be able to comply with Hawaii state licensure requirements before starting.
