Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Nights

Location: Roosevelt, Utah
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Description

• Provide respiratory care services under the supervision of the Respiratory Medical Director and Department Manager.
• Manage, treat, and evaluate patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.
• Triage patients safely, rapidly, and accurately in the emergency care system.
• Determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs and patient flow factors.
• Communicate with Emergency Department physicians regarding patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic results.
• Perform patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and provide education to patients, caregivers, and the community.

Required Qualifications

• Current Utah State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• BCLS and ACLS certification.
• Valid (active) NBRC Credential in good standing.
• AARC/USRC Membership preferred.
