Description

Job Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Margate, Florida
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

Unit: EP/CATH LAB
Beds: 2 Cath labs, 1 EP lab
Staff Composition: Combination of RN, RCIS, RT, CVT, department assistant, Clinical Nurse Coordinator, Manager
Patient Ratios: 1:1 with 3 staff per room (except VT Ablation staff with 4)
Equipment: GE, ESI
Documentation Systems: Meditech, MacLab
Call Requirements: Four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Typical Procedures

Pacemakers (all types)
Ablations (all types)
Watchman
Cryoablation

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
Electrophysiology Lab experience
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Experience in an Acute Care setting
EKG training

Additional Information

Prior travel experience: Not specified / not required
Dress Code: Facility-provided scrubs via Scrub Ex
Work Environment: Acute care setting with electrophysiology procedures requiring scrubbing experience
