Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical) - Travel/Contract

Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts (08:00 - 17:00) with 1-hour lunch
On Call/Weekend: No on call or weekend requirements
Float Requirement: None


Job Description

  • Position: Transplant Coordinator (organ: kidney-pancreas)
  • Accepts RNs with basic Medical-Surgical experience
  • Clinic or acute inpatient Medical-Surgical experience required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in District of Columbia
  • Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience in both clinic and inpatient Medical-Surgical settings
  • Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
