Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech (Radiologic Technologist)

Job Description

• Position: Radiologic Tech / X-Ray Tech
• Required experience in Orthopedic and Emergency Trauma Center settings
• Shift Schedule:

  • Alternating weekly schedule: one week 5 days x 8 hours, next week 4 days x 9 hours (76 hours per pay period)
  • Shift start times: 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM
  • Weekend rotation every other or every third weekend depending on unit needs
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Facility Designations: Magnet, Teaching, Level II Trauma
• Charting System: Epic

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Certifications:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

Additional Notes

• No local candidates accepted (must live more than 50 miles away)
• Guaranteed contracted hours
• Dress code: RRTs wear dove gray scrubs (light gray)
• Education modules to be completed during orientation (approx. 16 hours)
• Candidates must complete a fingerprint questionnaire immediately after signing contract
• Candidates must comply with all facility-specific onboarding and confidentiality agreements
