Job Opportunity: Critical Care Float - Registered Nurse

Location: Huntington, West Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position in Critical Care Float Pool
12-hour night shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
Weekends and holidays as needed
Facility is a Short Term Acute Care, Major Teaching Hospital, Level II Trauma Center
Charting system: Cerner

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
First-time travel nurses are welcome (no prior travel experience required)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in West Virginia
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, with ICU experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Scrub color: Black scrubs or facility T-shirt; surgery scrubs provided when reporting to surgery
Free parking available for travelers

This position is ideal for experienced ICU nurses seeking a travel contract with a major teaching hospital in West Virginia. Prior travel experience is not required.
