Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

Job Details

• 36-hour work week
• Day shift position
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license required
• Candidate must have flu vaccine
• Shared housing available (no guests or pets; must have own transportation)

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Current N95 fit test (within 365 days of start date, updated annually)
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (no exemptions allowed)
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination documentation
• Tuberculosis (TB) screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
• Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date
• Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI, SSN trace, national sex offender registry, and exclusion checks
• Documentation of two references within 4 years (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) attestation
• Education verification (highest level achieved)

Additional Requirements

• Must have documentation of TB chest x-ray if positive TB test
• Must have documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity is strongly preferred
• Must have documentation of Tdap vaccine within 10 years (preferred)
• Must complete MGB MVH Housing Agreement if moving into shared housing
• Must have documentation of flu vaccine (no religious or medical exemptions)
• Must comply with all credentialing and onboarding requirements prior to start date

Experience

• Years of experience not explicitly stated; RRT license required
• No explicit prior travel experience required

• No fit testing can be done onsite; must be completed prior to start
• Flu mist vaccine administered by pharmacy or provider accepted; self-administered flu mist not accepted
