Job Opportunity: Temporary Respiratory Therapist (Nights)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical respiratory care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the respiratory therapy discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule typically 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
• Orientation dates available from April through December 2026.

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Respiratory Therapist
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required.
• Prior Travel Experience: At least 1 completed travel contract required.
• Licensure: Must hold a valid Wisconsin Respiratory Therapist license (CRT or RRT).
• Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Work history/resume.
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
  • License verification.
  • Copy of required certifications.
  • One supervisory reference at time of submission.
  • Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (exceptions apply for Madison with a rate adjustment).

Additional Information

• Night shift position.
• Must be able to provide documentation verifying taxable address for compliance with local traveler policy.
