Job Opportunity: MRI Tech (Day Shift)

Location: Bozeman, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

The MRI Tech provides healthcare services by performing MRI procedures and related techniques to produce images for diagnosis or treatment, assisting radiologists and medical staff as needed.


Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Certified MRI Technician certification
  • Must be registered in MRI

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform MRI exams and procedures as requested by medical staff
  • Assist Radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures
  • Maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures
  • Complete documentation required for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
  • Retrieve and file exam jackets, written orders, and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of MRI exams
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives as described in the hospital’s strategic plan

Additional Information

  • Facility may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
  • Candidates must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
