Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical / Telemetry nursing, with experience within the last year.
• Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Knowledge and proficiency in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID required and must be carried on assignment.
• Completion of facility-specific onboarding modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome).
• Fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing; candidates may start with results pending but must complete prior to assignment start.
• Candidates with gaps in employment longer than 6 months may need to repeat onboarding modules.
• Physical exam documentation must include provider address and accommodate latex allergies if applicable.
• Flu vaccination documentation must be submitted by November 30th for current candidates; no declinations accepted.
• Candidates must comply with all facility-specific health and safety protocols.

Summary

This is a travel Registered Nurse position in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit in Ohio with a 13-week contract. Candidates must have at least 2 years of acute care experience, hold a valid Ohio RN license, and maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications. Comprehensive background checks, health screenings, immunizations, and competency testing are mandatory. Facility-specific onboarding and documentation must be completed prior to assignment start.
