Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Temp)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts with varied start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM
• Department: General Nuclear Medicine at a Level I Trauma Center
• Equipment experience preferred: Hybrid imaging, SPECT/CT, Siemens and GE equipment
• Ability to multi-task and knowledge in advanced therapies beneficial
• May be required to float between campuses

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years (24 months) Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Arizona Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) licensure required
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
• Active license to practice verified within the last 30 days
• Flu vaccination required (medical and/or religious exemptions available)
• Valid driver’s license to verify residency
• No restrictions or hits on state license to practice
• Must be able to start on the listed start date or within one week
• Return to work (RTO) cannot exceed 7 days and no RTO allowed during the first week of assignment
• Completion of required learning modules prior to assignment start
• Resume must include all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and number of beds
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
• Complete required cover page with all criteria clearly outlined (locations, shifts, departments)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Candidates must be flexible with locations, shifts, and departments to increase chances of securing the assignment
• Non-billable hours adjusted to reflect 16 hours per assignment
• Assignment may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty
