Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg (Adult) - Night Shift

Location: St Johnsbury, Vermont
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Night shift position primarily caring for adult patients with occasional pediatric patients (not a pediatric floor; pediatric-only RNs should not apply).
• Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in a general Med/Surg unit.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet the diverse needs of patients using the Nursing Process for critical decision-making.
• Focus on holistic care addressing patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
• Accountable to the Unit Director and work closely with Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor.
• Must be able to start on 3/25/26.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont or multi-state RN license.
• Minimum of 3 years acute care experience (preference for candidates familiar with Meditech).
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Flu shot required (no exceptions).

Additional Information

• Travelers will start on Wednesdays.
• During orientation week, hours may be adjusted due to midweek start.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
