Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) - Operating Room (Days)

Location: Mattoon, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform at a competent level according to technologist standards of practice.
• Provide patient care and service through a multidisciplinary team approach.
• Assist in emergency procedures as well as elective and scheduled surgical cases.
• Maintain an environment of caring and concern for patients and staff, following patient-focused care and customer service principles.

Required Qualifications

• Specialty Experience: Minimum 2+ years of Certified Surgical First Assist experience (highest required).
• Proficiencies:

  • Orthopedic surgeries including total joints, hip fractures, arthroscopy, ORIFs, shoulder scopes, and replacements.
  • General, Neuro, Vascular, Gynecology, and Urology surgical procedures.
  • Proficient in DaVinci robotic surgery systems.
• Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Documentation:

  • Work history and skills checklist relevant to Operating Room, current within 1 year.
  • Two supervisory references with dates of employment.
• Other Requirements:

  • Must be located outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible).
  • Candidates who were direct employees within the last 2 years are not eligible.
