Job Opportunity: RN - Operating Room (OR), Variable Day Shift with Call

Location: Bozeman, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room works collaboratively with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient and family education, assess patient needs, and initiate appropriate interventions. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, individualized care planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice. The RN also provides leadership and contributes to professional development within the practice setting.

Required Qualifications

• Montana Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited School of Nursing, Associate degree, or Diploma
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience (higher experience requirement noted)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
• 1 year circulating experience in OR
• 1 year scrub experience in OR

Additional Information

• Stroke competency required: compliance with hospital stroke care policies and participation in stroke education (initial and annual)
• Variable day shift positions with call responsibilities
• Candidates must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
