Description

Travel Registered Nurse (Stepdown Neuro)

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, nights (7pm-7am)
Rotating weekends
Float required as needed across all facilities
Unit: 30-bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care Unit (Neuro PCU) focused on medical neurological patients
Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department provides patient monitoring surveillance
Staff scheduled in 6-week periods via self-assisted scheduling system

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience, with at least some experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
