Job Details
- Shift: 3x12 Night shifts
- Floating: Yes, clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs
- Charting System: Epic
- Local Radius Rule: Must live greater than 75 miles from contracted facility
- Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: 5 days or less allowed
- Scrub Color: Black

Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Required Licenses & Certifications
- License: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) & Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license by appropriate state department
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - check unit requirements
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - if applicable
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - if applicable
- Other certifications may be required depending on unit
Clinical Skills / Special Procedures
- Bedside Bronchoscopy
- Bedside Percutaneous/Cricothyrotomy tracheostomies
- ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation)
- Nitric Oxide Therapy
- Veletri (Epoprostenol) administration
- Lung Transplants
- ER / Level II Trauma Services
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Current and valid Driver’s License or State-issued ID
- Utility bill in candidate’s name with matching address dated within last 3 months (address must be >75 miles from facility)
- 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start, updated monthly
- Education verification (transcript/diploma)
- Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen including marijuana (required within 30 days prior to start, updated annually)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by Physician/PA/NP/APRN
- Immunizations and health documents including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (mandatory for Respiratory Care)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframe
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B (vaccination series or declination)
- Varicella (vaccination, titer, or history)
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption (required annually)
- COVID vaccination strongly preferred (declinations accepted with agency form)
- Fit mask testing to be completed onsite on first day
- Facility-specific acknowledgments and policy forms must be completed prior to start
- References: Two former direct supervisor references required (one within 1 year, one within 3 years)
- Employment history verification for last 10 years
Additional Notes
- Candidates must be able to meet all facility-specific onboarding requirements including orientation and safety training.
- Floating to sister facilities is not applicable.
- No pending state license acceptance; must have active license before start.
- No accommodation for block scheduling.
- Must comply with local radius rule and RTO restrictions.
This position is ideal for experienced Respiratory Therapists with strong critical care skills and the ability to work night shifts in a high-acuity environment.
