Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Days)

Location: Ogallala, Nebraska
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position requires Med/Surg experience.
• Must be able to start on the listed start date or within one week after.
• Return to Office (RTO) cannot exceed 7 days and no RTO during the first week of assignment.
• Candidates should specify all facilities, shifts, and departments they are willing to work in.
• Candidates must be pre-closed and ready to accept the assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor & Delivery (L&D)
• Experience: Minimum 24 months L&D experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Licenses & Certifications:

  • Active RN license to practice (verified within last 30 days).
  • Life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI:

    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • AFM (Advanced Fetal Monitoring)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Valid driver’s license to verify residency.
• Flu vaccination required (medical and/or religious exemptions accepted with documentation).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not explicitly required.

Additional Information

• Learning modules must be completed prior to the start of the assignment.
• Non-billable hours adjusted to reflect 16 hours per assignment.
• The facility is an 18-bed, non-profit critical access hospital with a Level IV Trauma Center offering 24/7 emergency care, surgical, and inpatient services.
