Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist - Inpatient/Outpatient
Location: Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule: Tuesday to Saturday
- Tuesday to Thursday: outpatient
- Friday to Saturday: inpatient
- Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (split between inpatient and outpatient)
- Shared housing available (no pets or guests allowed)
- Car required for the position
- Current flu vaccine required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license for Massachusetts (no conditional licenses accepted)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA preferred)
- Documentation of required immunizations and health screenings including:
- Flu vaccine (no exemptions allowed)
- MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccination or proof of immunity
- TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
- N95 fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually
- Physician health statement within 365 days of start date
- Documentation of two measles vaccines, two mumps vaccines, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity
- Criminal background checks including:
- Massachusetts CORI
- National sex offender registry
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid lists)
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
- Two professional references within 4 years (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation (if fit test required)
- Education verification (highest level achieved)
- Social Security Number trace covering past 7 years
