Description

Job Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Margate, Florida
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

Unit: EP/CATH LAB
Number of Beds: 2 Cath labs, 1 EP lab
Staff Composition: Combination of RN, RCIS, RT, CVT, department assistant, Clinical Nurse Coordinator, Manager
Patient Ratios: 1:1 (3 staff per room, except VT Ablation staff with 4)
Equipment: GE, ESI
Documentation Systems: Meditech, MacLab
Call Requirements: Four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Typical Procedures

Pacemakers (all types)
Ablations (all types)
Watchman
Cryoablation

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
ACLS certification
BLS certification

Additional Information

Prior travel experience: Not required or specified
Dress Code: Facility-provided scrubs
Work Environment: Acute care setting with electrophysiology procedures
Preferred Skills: ACLS & EKG training; experience scrubbing all electrophysiology procedures in acute care
