Job Opportunity: MRI Tech - Radiology

Location: Fort Pierce, Florida

Unit Information

• Unit: MRI Unit
• Number of Beds: 1 MRI Scanner, 1 table
• Staff: 2 MRI Techs total (Day and Night shifts, 12-hour shifts)
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment: GE, 1.5 Tesla, Discovery 450
• EMR System: Meditech

Job Description

• Perform MRI scans producing detailed images of internal body structures
• No use of X-Rays involved
• Work independently is a must; critical thinking and flexibility required
• Willingness to work weekends and nights; no on-call required

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT Certification
• BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS Certification (not required)

• Certified Primary Stroke Center
• Recognized with 5-star rating for heart attack treatment for 11 consecutive years
