Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation Therapy

Location: Pahala, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 20 weeks

Job Description

• Provide physical therapy services primarily in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting, with secondary coverage in ICF/SNF rehab.
• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned residents/patients.
• Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by attending physicians or consulting specialists.
• Provide consulting physical therapy services as needed.
• Must be available to work shifts, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
• Use of EMR system (Meditech) is required.

Required Qualifications

• Must have an active Hawaii state license by the start of the assignment. Travelers not currently licensed in Hawaii must apply upon acceptance of the offer.
• Minimum 6 months of work experience in at least one of the following adult care settings: acute care, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing facility (SNF).
• BLS/BCLS certification required.

Schedule

• Variable shifts, examples include:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Additional Information

• Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday.
• Do not accept the start date if unable to arrive on time.
