Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Location: Saint Cloud, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Support both outpatient clinic and hospital settings.
• Work at least 36 hours per week, up to 40 hours.
• Alternating shifts including day and evening hours.
• Weekend rotation every 4 to 6 weeks (12-hour shifts on weekends).
• Shift hours vary: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
• No on-call duties.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• Completion of a two-year Allied Health education program or a Bachelor's Degree.
• ARDMS credential.
• Vascular Technologist experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Licensing & Certifications

• Current ARDMS and RVT credentials.
• Current BLS certification.

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check within the last year, including:

  • 7-year search, SS trace, county, sex offender, nationwide checks.
  • International background checks if candidate has lived/worked outside the U.S.
• Education verification required.
• Minnesota DHS NetStudy fingerprinting clearance required prior to start.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Immunizations and health screenings required:

  • Tdap vaccination (no religious declinations accepted).
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray per Minnesota state guidelines.
  • Proof of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined).
• Drug testing within 1 year of start (9-panel acceptable).
• Two professional references from recent employers within 2 years.
• Skills checklist and work history verification required.

Additional Information

• No call required.
• Dress code must be reviewed prior to start.
• Education modules to be completed during orientation.
• Candidates must complete a photo for badge (grey background, no selfies).
• Candidates must complete a confidentiality agreement prior to start.
• Candidates must return badges on last day of assignment.
• Time off requests (RTO) must be finalized with submission; no RTO allowed within first week; max 7 days per assignment.

Notes for Candidates

• This is a travel contract position with guaranteed contracted hours.
• Candidates must be prepared for variable shift lengths (8, 10, or 12 hours).
• Weekend work is required approximately once every 4 to 6 weeks.
• Fingerprinting and background clearance are mandatory and must be completed before starting.
• Candidates must be willing to travel and cannot live locally within 50 miles of the facility.
