Description

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care

Location: Honakaa, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide medication administration, skin treatments, patient assessments, assistance with activities of daily living (ADL), nebulized treatments, wound vac care, CPAP care, and gastrostomy tube care.
Work varied 8-hour shifts including days (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM), evenings (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM), and nights (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
Shifts include weekends, holidays, and may require overtime rotation.
No guarantee of hours or shift preference.
Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.

Required Qualifications

Current Hawaii LPN license required by the start of the assignment.
Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required.
Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to contract start. Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in nursing specialty.
