Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Huntington, West Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Job Details

• Shift options:

  • 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 8:45 AM - 9:15 PM, 10:45 AM - 11:15 PM)
  • 8-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, 8:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM)
• Weekend availability required, usually Saturdays, working every other weekend
• No on-call required
• Scrub preferred, circulate required
• Must be able to function in multiple surgical areas including Trauma, Cardiovascular, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Cataracts, ENT, and others
• Quick interview and offer process; traveler-friendly environment

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in Trauma, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, and ENT Surgery
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Experience

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• Must have experience functioning in multiple surgical specialties including trauma and various surgical subspecialties
