Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call required

Job Description

• Position is for a brand new unit opening on 4/13/26
• Manager will provide more details during the phone screen

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only, RQI acceptable
• ARMRIT
• ARRT MR
• State license verification required (primary source verification, no pending actions, must be valid at start)

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) certification
• Must have valid MRI Tech credentials and licensure appropriate for South Carolina
• Background check within 12 months, including 7-year history and alias searches
• Drug screening within 1 year, updated annually
• Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Immunizations and health documents as required (e.g., TB test, Hepatitis B, Flu vaccine or exemption)
• Completion of required online orientation modules and pre-assignment testing within 72 hours of assignment
• Compliance with facility-specific policies including HIPAA, OSHA, and safety training

Additional Requirements

• Driver’s license or state ID required for computer access and while on duty
• Badge photo required prior to start (passport style, plain background, no alterations)
• Annual competency exams and training modules must be completed and up to date
• Various certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) – check unit specifics
• Medication and arrhythmia competency testing may be required if applicable

• Respirator fit test will be completed onsite during orientation
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
