Job Opportunity: Sonographer

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Schedule

• Shift: 3pm - 11pm
• Days: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Some on-call required

Job Description

• Perform sonography duties with a preference for candidates who have some OB/GYN experience.
• Must hold ARDMS certification.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Sonographer license/certification as required by Massachusetts.
• ARDMS certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA preferred).
• Documentation of required immunizations and health screenings including:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or immunity proof
  • Influenza vaccine (required during flu season)
  • TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
  • N95 fit test within 1 year of start date, updated annually
  • Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 1 year
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof (strongly preferred)
  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years (preferred)

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check including Massachusetts CORI and national sex offender registry.
• Verification of highest level of education achieved.
• Social Security Number trace and exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid).
• Submission of references (2 within last 4 years, including at least 1 supervisor).
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year.

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Candidates must be able to complete all credentialing and compliance requirements prior to start date.
