Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Beaufort, South Carolina

Job Summary

Seeking experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists for 2 night shift travel positions. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required (AAP or AHA only)

Certifications Required

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – required for RRTs only.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA only.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA only.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA only (required for PACU, may be relevant).

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I9 or Attestation.
• Government issued photo ID required during hours of service.
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation.
• Criminal background check within 6 months of start (or within 30 days for new candidates).
• Primary source verification of state license.
• Copy of diploma required (transcripts not accepted).
• Drug testing: 10 panel within 6 months or 30 days of start (instant tests not accepted).
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands.
• Immunizations and titers including Tdap, TB test, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu, and COVID vaccines or facility-specific declinations.
• References: Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluation.
• Performance evaluations and skills checklists as applicable.

Additional Notes

• Candidates must complete approximately 81 Relias training modules prior to first shift and orientation.
• Badge photo required with specific guidelines (no hats, sunglasses, filters, or altered images).
• Facility-specific confidentiality and job description forms must be signed.
• Annual background checks required by the staffing agency.
• Facility is strict on obtaining performance evaluations if applicable.
• Candidates must carry photo ID during shifts.
