Description

Medical Laboratory Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician

Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

3rd shift position (10:00 PM to 8:30 AM)
40 hours per week, working 4 shifts of 10 hours each
High volume lab in a Level III trauma center
Responsibilities include:
- Instrument maintenance and quality control (QC)
- Manual differentials
- Body fluids analysis
Work schedule includes 2 weekends per month and holidays as needed

Required Qualifications

Specialty: Medical Laboratory
Licensure: Must hold a valid Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) license appropriate for Ohio
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Medical Laboratory specialty (including Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis)
Prior travel experience: Not required

Additional Information

Facility may cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract
All requested time off must be disclosed at submission and included in the contract confirmation to be honored
Strict compliance with contract start/end dates and requested time off policies is required

Shift Details

Night shift (10:00 PM to 8:30 AM)
4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
2 weekends per month and holidays as needed
