Physical Therapist Job Opportunity

Location: Luverne, Minnesota
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Overview

• Provide inpatient and outpatient general rural practice physical therapy.
• Utilize equipment such as Epic documentation system, blood flow restriction devices, ultrasound/E-stim, iontophoresis, and general therapy equipment.
• Work primarily at one location with possible floating to nearby clinics if necessary.
• Facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital with an outpatient department.

Schedule

• Typical shift: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• No call, no evenings, no weekends required
• Possibility of working alone if other staff are off

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Minnesota (IA PTA licensure is a bonus)
• BLS Certification required
• General physical therapy skills and experience

Orientation & Training

• Department and hospital tour
• Documentation training
• Orientation to department-specific equipment
• Support available from PT staff for questions and assistance

Additional Information

• Dress code: Business casual or polo shirts in specified colors (ceil blue, khaki, gray, chocolate brown)
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• Well-established PT department with 7 full-time PTs and 1 PTA, plus occupational therapy, speech therapy, and cardiac rehab services
