Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - Days

Location: Bangor, Maine
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for performing treatment, diagnostic, and monitoring procedures as outlined in the Respiratory Care Department Procedure Manual, following physician orders and department protocols.


Required Qualifications

  • Two Year College Degree
  • State of Maine Respiratory Care License
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)

Additional Information

  • Up to 16 hours of orientation (unpaid)
  • The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
