Radiology Technologist (X-Ray/Fluoroscopy) - Contract

Job Details

• Employment Type: Contractor
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Patient Types: Inpatient and Outpatient; General X-ray and Fluoroscopy patients
• Work Environment: Busy radiology department with 5 beds
• Scheduling:

  • Weekend rotation every other weekend
  • On-call 4 shifts per month
  • Holiday shifts are 8 hours
• Orientation: At least one shift to learn unit flow
• Support: Supervisor available on unit as needed
• Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue
• Parking: Free onsite parking provided

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of X-ray experience
• Illinois state license (IEMA) for Radiologic Technologists
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ARRT certification
• Fluoroscopy experience required
• Strong Operating Room (OR) experience required
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Preferred proficiency with GE, Siemens, and Fuji radiology equipment

• Appropriate PPE provided

• Facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center with Level II NICU, Magnet designation, and Primary Stroke Center status
• COVID-19 vaccine required

This position is suitable for radiologic technologists with solid experience in general X-ray and fluoroscopy, comfortable working in a busy hospital radiology department, and proficient with EPIC and major imaging equipment brands.
