Radiology Technologist (X-Ray/Fluoroscopy) - Contract

Job Details

• Facility Type: Busy radiology department with 5 beds, serving inpatient and outpatient general X-ray and fluoroscopy patients
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Scheduling:

  • Weekend rotation every other weekend
  • On-call 4 shifts per month
  • Holiday shifts are 8 hours
• Orientation: At least one shift to learn workflow
• Floating: None
• Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue required
• Parking: Free onsite parking

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of X-ray experience
• Illinois state license (IEMA)
• BLS (AHA)
• ARRT certification
• Fluoroscopy experience
• Strong Operating Room (OR) experience
• EPIC electronic health record experience (required)
• Preferred experience with GE, Siemens, and Fuji imaging equipment

Patient Population

• Inpatient and outpatient general X-ray and fluoroscopy patients

Additional Information

• Supervisor available on unit for support as needed
• Appropriate PPE provided
• Facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center with Level II NICU, teaching hospital, Magnet designation, and Primary Stroke Center (for context only, no facility name included)
