Description

Job Opportunity: Med/Surg Nurse - Flexible Night Shift

Location: Tuba City, Arizona
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Summary

The Clinical Nurse provides a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments. The role requires the ability to work independently to complete assignments. Nursing duties include support to individuals of all ages and their families, following physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures, and hospital policies.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Arizona
  • Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience in an Acute Care setting
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

  • Orientation sessions occur every 2 weeks.
  • COVID & Flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted after submission of a declination form.
  • Limited housing options available: shared housing units at $600 per month (based on availability). No family or pets allowed in housing.

The position is located in a culturally rich, diverse community serving Native American tribes including Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute. The healthcare facility provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, surgical, dental, ophthalmology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, and more.


This opportunity is ideal for nurses seeking a flexible night shift contract in a unique and diverse healthcare setting.
