Job Opportunity: MFM Sonographer

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)

Job Description

• Position in a busy Obstetrics (OB) department with 6 rooms
• Specialty: Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer

Required Qualifications

• Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography (3 years of experience)
• Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience within the last year

Health and Safety Requirements

• Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no exemptions allowed)
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or proof of immunity required
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 15), no exemptions allowed
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months
• Physician health statement within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months
• Hepatitis B vaccination strongly preferred (or proof of immunity or declination)
• Tdap vaccine preferred within last 10 years
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is required

Background and Professional Checks

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, including international searches if applicable
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date
• National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
• Social Security Number trace as part of background check
• Education verification of highest degree achieved
• Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in skillset
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission

Submission Requirements

• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• Candidate submission coversheet (current version)
• Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and for extensions

Additional Notes

• No religious or medical exemptions allowed for required vaccines and fit testing
• Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start
• Some health requirements and background checks must be updated if there is a break in assignment longer than 6 months
