Description

Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiology

Location: Plano, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Rotating on-call schedule (approximately 13 days per month including 1 to 2 weekends)

Unit Information

  • Unit Type: Interventional Radiology
  • Number of Beds: 3 Suites
  • Staff: 10 total (6 RNs and 4 technologists on day shift)
  • Equipment: Phillips imaging systems (2 biplanes, 1 single plane)
  • EMR Systems: Meditech and GE Centricity PACS

Typical Procedures

  • Neuro Interventional procedures (thrombectomies, coilings, MMA’s, spinal angiograms, etc.)
  • Interventional Radiology body cases (G-tubes, biopsies, PCNs, Mediports, TIPS)
  • Trauma angiograms (spleen, liver, GDA, renal, etc.)

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiology Technician license in Texas
  • Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technician experience within the last year
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
  • Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
  • Neuro interventional experience
  • Interventional Radiology Technologist experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vascular Interventional (VI) registry
  • Experience with Meditech EMR system
  • Experience with Phillips imaging equipment

  • Team player
  • Adaptable to different physician preferences
  • Comfortable with taking call

Additional Information

  • Dress Code: Steel grey scrubs
  • No floating to other areas required
