Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit on a travel contract basis.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Requirements and Notes

Candidates must complete all required onboarding modules prior to start.
Fingerprinting must be completed both through the agency and at the facility.
Candidates can start with fingerprint results pending if fingerprinting is completed prior to start.
Physical exam and eye exam do not need to be updated annually if currently on assignment without break.
Flu vaccine documentation must be submitted by November 30th for current candidates; no declinations accepted.
Medical and religious exemptions for vaccines require agency approval and facility review.
Candidates with name changes must have consistent legal names on all documents.
Orientation includes facility-specific competency and safety acknowledgments.
No prior travel experience explicitly required for this position.

Summary

This is a travel Registered Nurse position in Ohio for a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 13-week contract. Candidates must hold an active Ohio RN license, have at least 1 year of relevant experience, and meet comprehensive health, background, and certification requirements.
