Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Hudson, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to work in a Level II Trauma Center with a 5-suite Cardiac Cath Lab unit. The unit performs diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, peripheral vascular procedures, pacers, ICDs, Watchman device implants, TAVR, and EP/ABL procedures.

Unit Details

5 procedure suites
Staff includes 1 Director, 1 CNC, ~5 techs, and ~4.6 RNs
Day shift: Full staff coverage
Night shift: On-call crew for emergent cases
Patient ratio: Approximately 1 patient per 3-4 staff members
Equipment includes Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, Rotoblator
EMR systems: MacLab & Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with EP/ABL procedures is a plus

Schedule & Additional Information

Scheduled according to facility policy
Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff

Ideal Candidate

Skilled in cardiac catheterization and related procedures
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, trauma center environment
Able to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and other techs
