Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

  • Candidates must have an Arizona home address on their driver's license.
  • All candidates must be pre-closed and ready to accept the position.
  • Candidates should list all experienced departments they are willing to work in.
  • All shifts the traveler is open to working must be specified.
  • Requests for time off (RTO) must be less than 7 days and will not be approved in the first week of assignment or during holidays.

Requirements

  • Valid RN license in Arizona
  • Minimum of 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
  • Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Profile Requirements

  • Completed Banner Cover Page.
  • Updated resume detailing all facilities, facility size, beds, trauma level, and units.
  • Skills checklist specific to the discipline (must be less than a year old).
  • Active license verification (must be less than 30 days old).
  • Driver's license.

Additional Information

  • Learning modules must be completed prior to the start of the assignment.
  • Non-billable hours have been adjusted to reflect 16 hours for each assignment.
  • The client or vendor may cancel an assignment in progress with 7 days written notice without penalty.

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center has been serving the Northwest Valley for over 25 years, focusing on excellent patient care. The facility is a 890,000-square-foot acute-care hospital with a recent $290 million expansion, which includes a new Emergency department and all-private rooms. It is designated as a Level I Adult Trauma Center, capable of providing comprehensive care for severe injuries.
