Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient (Days)

Location: Vandalia, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

Physical Therapists plan and execute rehabilitation programs to help patients return to a higher level of physical function. Responsibilities include:

• Therapeutic exercise
• Neuromuscular re-education
• Physical modalities
• Gait training
• Manual techniques
• Performing patient evaluations and treatments per physician prescriptions
• Assisting in clinic management of personnel and students

Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills are essential to motivate patients and provide compassionate care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
• Outpatient orthopedics experience required
• Active Illinois Physical Therapist License
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Work history and skills checklist relevant to Physical Therapy (updated within 1 year)
• Two supervisory reference forms with employment dates

Additional Information

• Dress code: Business casual (Khakis and a polo)
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible)
• Applicants who were direct employees within the last 2 years are not eligible
• Nonbillable hours: 16 hours
• Overtime, holiday, call back, and on-call rates apply (details withheld per privacy rules)
