Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: 3 x 12 hour night shifts
Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT license mandatory)
Preferred Experience: EPIC and Hamilton ventilator experience

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts
Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year

Health and Compliance Requirements

Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity proof
TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
Physician health statement within 1 year of start date
Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI, national sex offender registry, and exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid lists) within required timeframes
Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor-level
Skills checklist completed within 1 year
Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and for extensions
Education verification through background check company
Social Security Number trace as part of background check
Name change documentation if applicable

Additional Notes

No onsite fit testing; must be completed prior to start
Strongly preferred (but optional): Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof
Positive TB test requires negative chest x-ray documentation
Compliance with all credential submission and onboarding requirements is mandatory
