Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry / Stepdown (Nights)

Location: Muscantine, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. The position involves working with an acute patient population, including critical drips and Bipap management.

Schedule & Orientation

• Typical hours: 36-40 hours per week (overtime billable after 40 hours)
• Orientation sessions available regularly throughout the year
• Night shift position

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of experience in Med Surg or Stepdown nursing
• Comfortable floating to the Emergency Room (ER)
• Experience with acute patient care including critical drips and Bipap
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Valid Driver’s License
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• License verification and required certifications
• Work history/resume and 1 supervisory reference required
• Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Additional Information

• First-time travel nurses are accepted
• Must be comfortable managing critical care patients and performing duties across multiple units within the discipline

Note: Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
