Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist
Location: Fremont, Ohio (with possible floating to nearby locations)
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description Highlights
- Treatments include SRS, SBRT, IGRT, IMRT, Electron, Conventional treatments
- Experience with CBCT/kV/mV imaging
- Pre-treatment skills: CT Simulation, Tumor Localization, Custom molds, Custom shields
- Treatment Planning System: Eclipse (Varian)
- Specialty treatment experience: Electron Field, Respiratory Gating/Breath Hold (for Left Breast), Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Gynecomastia, Prophylactic Treatments, Benign Brain Tumors
- Specialty cancers/illnesses experience: Pancreatic cancer, Testicular Cancer, Leukemia, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Graves Disease, Keloids, Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials, Kidney Cancer
- Linear Accelerator experience: Varian TrueBeam, Varian TrueBeam Edge, Varian Trilogy
- Documentation systems: ARIA, EPIC (required)
- Work schedule includes every other weekend on-call at the primary location as needed
- Scrubs color: Dark gray
- No local travelers within 50 miles accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Ohio
- Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience with CBCT/kV/mV imaging
- Experience with CT Simulation
- Experience with Tumor Localization
- Experience with Custom molds and Custom shields
- Experience with Stereotactic Radiosurgery
- Experience with SBRT, IGRT, IMRT, and Electron Field treatments
- Experience with Epic documentation system
Compliance & Documentation Requirements (Summary)
- Background checks including 7-year history, nationwide, sex offender, and international if applicable
- Fingerprinting (BCI and FBI) required within 12 months of start for Ohio placements; must be updated annually
- Education verification required
- Physical exam within last 12 months (latex allergy acceptable)
- N95 Fit Test required within 12 months of start and updated annually (onsite completion possible with approval)
- Immunizations and titers required or approved exemptions for:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (series, positive titer, or declination)
- Seasonal Flu vaccination or approved exemption (required during flu season)
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
- References: 2 professional references within 2 years, including at least one leader (Charge RN or above)
- Skills checklist required for all candidates
Additional Notes
- Radiation badges will be issued by the facility; not the responsibility of the agency
- Candidates must complete a time-sensitive agency form prior to start (includes photo submission for badge)
- Floating to other nearby locations may be required
- On-call every other weekend as needed at the primary location
This position offers an opportunity to work with advanced radiation therapy technologies and a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting. It is suitable for Radiation Therapists with at least 1 year of experience who are comfortable with travel assignments and meeting comprehensive compliance requirements.
