Job Opportunity: Pharmacist - Pharmacy (Travel)
Location: Ogden, Utah
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off
- Shift: Swing shift (1:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
- Unit: Pharmacy, staffed 24 hours with five pharmacists (3 AM, 1 PM, 1 Night)
- Patient care areas served include NICU, ICU, OR, three EDs, inpatient rehab, inpatient acute detox, behavioral health, and level II trauma center
- Clinical activities: consult services (warfarin, vancomycin, TPN, insulin), drug information, intervention management via VigiLanz software
- Documentation systems used: Meditech, DoseEdge, RXMS, BD Pyxis, VigiLanz
- Team: Experienced pharmacists (average tenure ~7 years, some >10 years) and technicians (some with 10+ years)
- Work environment: Customer-first approach supporting nurses and physicians
- Dress code: Business casual or hospital-provided scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pharmacist license in Utah
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist, including experience within the last year
- Technician management experience
- Experience with Pyxis and CIISafe systems
- Experience using VigiLanz software
