Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab (Days)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in a complete Cath Lab providing cardiac and peripheral services.
• Procedures include Left and Right Heart Catheterization, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, Carotid diagnostic and stenting, Peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, Pacemaker insertion, Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy.
• Day shift: 8-hour shifts with rotation on call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Monitor patients using devices such as Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices.
• Proficient in monitoring LEXISCAN Stress Test.
• Use Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and McKesson CPACS, Cardiology, and Hemodynamic Systems.
• Rotate between duties including pre- and post-procedure care, patient transport, and assisting with other assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma (state license or compact).
• At least 2 years of Cath Lab experience (required).
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS (AHA) certification preferred.
• NIH certification preferred.
• Current skills checklist relevant to Cath Lab nursing within the last year.
• Two supervisory references from within the last two years.

Additional Information

• Recent travel experience is preferred but not required.
• On-call rotation includes paid call hours with a minimum payout.
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted terms.
• Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
• No increased rate for overtime, holiday, or call-back hours.
• Non-compete policy applies for former direct employees returning through an agency.

This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab RNs seeking a temporary assignment with a variety of interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular procedures in a regional referral center setting.
