Job Description
- Work in a women's health center specializing in reproductive endocrinology.
- Daily patient load: 10-15 patients per day.
- Procedures include 2-3 embryo transfers daily (Sunday through Saturday) and 1-2 sonograms per day (Monday through Friday).
- Ultrasound experience required with specific scan types: pelvic, anatomy, follicle size, ovaries, endometrium, growth, biophysical scans, placental, and volatility.
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARDMS certification in Abdomen/OBGYN ultrasound
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience required.
- First-time travelers will not be accepted (prior travel experience required).
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Weekend rotation every other weekend with shorter clinic days (2-4 hours).
- Holiday work in rotation with staff.
- No on-call duties.
Orientation
- 5 shifts of orientation.
Support and Team
- Leadership support available.
- Other sonographers, providers, and clinical nurses on unit.
Technology and Equipment
- EMR system: EPIC.
- Ultrasound equipment: GE Voluson S10, GE Signature 20, E8, E10, Expert 22.
Additional Information
- No floating to other units.
- Professional scrub attire required; surgical scrubs provided for procedures.
- Free parking available.
This position is ideal for experienced OB/GYN sonographers with reproductive endocrinology expertise who have completed at least one prior travel contract and hold the necessary certifications.
