Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Tech

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Schedule: Days, option of 4x10s or 5x8s
No weekends or call required
Must be competent in PET and general nuclear medicine (no cardiac)
Equipment used includes Siemens PET CT, Siemens and Phillips nuclear medicine cameras
Scrubs: Royal Blue or Khaki
Unit welcomes first-time travelers
No minimum experience required

Required Certifications

Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
PET certification

Required Qualifications

Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
NMTCB certification
PET certification and competency in PET

Experience

No minimum years of specialty experience required
Prior travel experience not required

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

Background check (7 years, updated annually)
Education verification (highest level)
Drug screening (10-panel, within 90 days)
Physical exam within 12 months
Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually
Immunizations and titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (within 1 year)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or 2 vaccines)
- Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination)
- Varicella (positive titer, 2 vaccines, or documented history)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
Photo for badge
Skills checklist and work history verification (7 years)

Additional Notes

Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required
Various competency exams may be required depending on profession
No references required for clearance, but professional references may be requested internally
Drivers license/state ID required
