Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac

Location: Salisbury, Maryland
Employment Type: Traveler - Backfill
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide pre and post-operative care for cath lab and EP lab patients.
Care for patients on a cardiac telemetry floor.
Utilize EPIC electronic charting system and Omnicell medication dispensing system.
Work a 7 PM shift with required weekend coverage.
No call responsibilities.
No floating to other units.
Unit size: 24 beds.
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4-5.
Dress code: Navy blue scrubs.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac telemetry or related cardiac nursing.
Current Maryland or compact RN license.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA required).
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (AHA required).

Additional Information

Employee will not work alone during shifts.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

This position is suitable for experienced cardiac telemetry nurses comfortable with EPIC charting and working evening shifts with weekend coverage.
