Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac
Location: Salisbury, Maryland
Employment Type: Traveler - Backfill
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide pre and post-operative care for cath lab and EP lab patients.
- Care for patients on a cardiac telemetry floor.
- Utilize EPIC electronic charting system and Omnicell medication dispensing system.
- Work a 7 PM shift with required weekend coverage.
- No call responsibilities.
- No floating to other units.
- Unit size: 24 beds.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4-5.
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac telemetry or related cardiac nursing.
- Current Maryland or compact RN license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA required).
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (AHA required).
Additional Information
- Employee will not work alone during shifts.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
This position is suitable for experienced cardiac telemetry nurses comfortable with EPIC charting and working evening shifts with weekend coverage.
