Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - MS/Tele
Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Assignment on 11 East Nephrology unit.
- Strong Medical-Surgical/Telemetry and Neurology skills required.
- 36-hour work week.
- Must be willing to float to other units as needed based on census, limited to units where competencies have been demonstrated.
Required Certifications & Licenses
- Current South Carolina RN license (Primary Source Verification required; no pending actions; must be valid at start).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only; RQI acceptable.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only; RQI acceptable.
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification.
- Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., TNCC, ENPC, PALS, NRP, EFM, MAB or CPI, STABLE) — verify unit-specific requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience.
- Demonstrated neurology skills and experience.
- ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- PALS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- NRP certification.
- TNCC certification.
- EFM certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- National Tech Cert Verification.
