Job Description

• Assignment on 11 East Nephrology unit.
• Strong Medical-Surgical/Telemetry and Neurology skills required.
• 36-hour work week.
• Must be willing to float to other units as needed based on census, limited to units where competencies have been demonstrated.

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Current South Carolina RN license (Primary Source Verification required; no pending actions; must be valid at start).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only; RQI acceptable.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only; RQI acceptable.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification.
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., TNCC, ENPC, PALS, NRP, EFM, MAB or CPI, STABLE) — verify unit-specific requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience.
• Demonstrated neurology skills and experience.
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• PALS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• NRP certification.
• TNCC certification.
• EFM certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• National Tech Cert Verification.
